Development of landscape architecture proposal and its execution, in a new house integrated in an urban allotment in Olhos d´Agua, Lagos. With a contemporary architecture and a privileged location, the proposal sought not to condition the views, using the low water consumption vegetation and a hidden and fully automated drip irrigation system with Wi-Fi connection, allowing remote control of watering times.
To preserve the privacy of the plot, and seeking the architecture in presence, different bamboos were used in the border hedge, making a careful choice of species to avoid future situations of uncontrolled development of these species. To stabilize a steep slope, it was used a technical grid with planting of sliding plants, a solution of high visual interest and technically adjusted to the needs.
In the larger areas, artificial turf with high load capacity was used, a solution that doesn’t require irrigation and preserves the privacy of the lot, eliminating the usual maintenance operations (mowing, fertilizers, pesticide applications).
